Sparkey and me are goin' free style anymore...no percentage in less. My heads lost in Spring.

Me and Sparkey are drinking tea and watching DIY bands make make it happen outside in the dark on the last day of August. They rolled in from Vancouver CA, and Paris, and Seattle. Go groovin.

Now it's Autumn and the temperature tumbles at night and the sun is bleary and pale today.

Sparkey and me live at the Moonbase sometimes. It's a little safer up here and keeps us from getting way burned up and blown out (which happens too often when we're not careful). It's best. It's like battle armor. With stars.

Garcia 1977. Stoney for sure. Persian too.

Snowed in up here. We holed up for two nights in a room at the expensive inn here in town - for FREE! And that is one way to hunker out a snow storm.

I’m obsessed again over the song Gomorrah that Garcia Band broke out in 1977, and played all the way through ‘til the end. This happens to me sometimes…Gomorrah, and the song Black Peter also. If I thought about it, I might be wrong, but I’m not really sure that there were any other two songs quite like these two that he sang (and the two are strangely similar). I’ll have to think about this (and for some reason the song Althea comes to mind, but, well, not so much).

I have some time though, to figure this out. We might be here for awhile. It’s snowing again now. And it’s dark. And the temperature is dropping. There may be nothing but a great landscape of snow and ice out there in the morning. And maybe all the way though ‘til next Tuesday they say as well.

If these days were a painting it would be called “Stilllife With Two Vagabonds Staying For Free In A Bourgeoisie Inn ~ Water Views, Snow Storm. December ‘08”. Peace.
